India is a country full of chai lovers and it is safe to say that we are very sensitive when it comes to tea. The craze is so huge that Indians carry their own chai masala even when traveling abroad for that much-needed morning cup.

1. Chai Sutta Bar

Chai Sutta Bar is one of the fastest-growing Indian tea chains which was founded by Anubhav Dubey and Anand Nayak in 2016 in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Later, another chai enthusiast and an entrepreneur at heart Rahul Patidar joined the team.

2. Teabox

Teabox was founded by Kausshal Dugarr in 2012 with a commitment to supplying garden-fresh tea leaves within 7 days which caused a revolution in the Indian tea industry.

Teabox has established a direct relationship with farmers eliminating costs involving any third party. The popularity of the brand is such that Ratan Tata, Accel, JAFCO Asia, and Dragoneer Investment Group have funded Teabox, making it an even bigger success.

3. MBA Chai Wala

MBA Chai Wala is one of the most talked about and famous chai franchises in the country. After dropping his MBA degree, Prafull Billore founded the company in the city of Ahmedabad in 2017.

Prafull started the business with just Rs 8000 and now has a franchise with over 4 Cr in annual revenue.

4. Chaayos

Chaayos was introduced with the concept of adding many varieties to your favorite drink and the popularity of the chai chain shot up soon after its launch. Chaayos is famous for its 1200 different tea options and is a hoot amongst the youth.

5. Chai Point

Chai Point was the first Indian tea startup that was founded by Amuleek Singh Bijral in 2010. In over a decade, the company has had a presence in more than 100 locations in the country and reported a revenue of Rs 190 crores in the fiscal year 2020.
