Broadcast Audience Research Council India’s (BARC) 27th-week data is here and the council has published the list of top advertisers and brands for the period between 4 July to 10 July 2020.
As per the report, these are the top 10 advertisers on television across genres and all platforms.
Even though new entrants were seen this week in the top 10 list, the insertion volume witnessed a drop since the week before. In week 26, the total number of insertions for all brands was 637000 while in the 27th week the insertion rate dropped at 626717.
Hindustan Lever Ltd (HUL) maintained its number one position with a total of 272916 insertions and Reckitt Benckiser (India) followed its lead to second place with a 103531 insertion rate.
Brooke Bond Lipton India stood at the third position this week with 41837 insertions while Godrej Consumer Products is on the fourth with 41,145 insertions followed by ITC on fifth with 31,601 insertions.
Wipro was in the sixth place with 31601, Cadburys India on seventh with 28787 insertions, and Colgate Palmolive India and Ponds India on eighth and ninth respectively with 25138 & 22767 insertions each. Pepsi Co is the new entrant in the list and stands on the tenth spot this week with 18,841 insertions.
Lux Toilet Soap maintained its number 1 position with 17523 insertions followed by Dettol Antiseptic Liquid which had 16940 insertions this week. Dettol Antiseptic Liquid was the new entrant in this week’s list. Policybazaar.com is on the third spot with 16227 insertions, Santoor Sandal and Turmeric is on the fourth spot with 12893 insertions. Surf Excel Easy Wash on fifth with 12632 insertions.
Horlicks with 12433 insertions, Wheel Active 2 in 1 with 12109 insertions, and Dettol Toilet Soaps with 10936 insertions, were placed on the sixth, seventh and eighth positions respectively. Fair & Lovely Advanced Multivitamin and Close Up Ever Fresh are at the ninth and tenth spots with 10878 insertions and 10497 insertions respectively.
