2. Asian Paints

Another beautiful ad that takes us back to the roads of nostalgia. Rahman composed this jingle in 1991 for Asian Paints. The Pongal theme and local setting of this advertisement were not a hard nut to crack for Rahman and he did a wonderful job of creating a melodious jingle which took hi career to new heights.

3. Titan Watches

This one is too cool. This Renault advertisement featuring Ranbir Kapoor had one of the best music composed for an advertisement. This catchy jingle ‘Re Re Raftar’ composed by Rahman, became immensely popular as soon as the ad was launched. How does he manage to be just the best every time?

6. Hero MotoCorp

This lifting composition by AR Rahman for Hero MotoCorp became a household tune when it was launched. This advertisement showcases the everyday moments of courage by people and with the iconic ‘Hum Main Hai Hero’ ad jingle, Rahman turned it into an emotion that every Indian was humming.

7. Cinthol

Do you know this advertisement was the reason why Rahman bagged the movie ‘Roja’ as a music composer? When Mani Ratnam heard the opening tune of this advertisement he was convinced that a young man who was only 26 years old could be the music composer of his masterpiece movie ‘Roja’. Interestingly, this advertisement features a young Arvind Swami as well who later made a debut as the lead in Roja. The ad was made in 1989 and proved to be quite lucky for both young men.
