For any brand to have a successful impact on the market it takes the right logo design to be successful. Since the beginning, the logo designs have played a huge part in making the product popular locally and internationally. Over the years, there have been several designs that the brands use to make their own.

While some succeed, some do not receive the desired feedback and ultimately choose to rebrand.

There have been several designs in the market, but these are the 7 designs that have become pretty popular amongst big brands and are sure to cater to many others in the coming years.

Gradients

Gradients (also called color ramps or color progressions) consist of a gradual blend of colors or shades. They can be a blend of colors in the same shade OR a blend of a wide variety of colors. To have a true gradient effect, the colors need to bleed into each other — they can’t be stacked side by side.

Overlapping Elements Logo

Overlapping elements are yet another popular logo design that we saw in 2019. From Myntra to Master Card, many brands have rebranded themselves with this design. in which a designer places different visual elements on top of each other to create a striking and vibrant logo by using varying opacity and complementary colors.

Monograms & Abbreviations

A monogram logo is a symbolic abbreviation of the company’s name. The designer uses proper and professional typography to create an insignia that can be easily remembered by their target market.

Negative Spacing

Negative space logos are logos that creatively use the white space or letter within an image to create a whole new image.

Text Destruction

When using text destruction, you’re intentionally leaving your logo unfinished. To achieve the desired visual effect, you can use fading lines, semi-visible shapes, etc.

Cluttered Composition

Cluttered Logo design is sure to be one of the most popular designs in the coming years. The abundance of elements conveys the feelings of security and reliability as per the experts.

Typography

Typographic logos or wordmarks are logos made entirely from type. It may seem like the design is easy to put together, however, it takes a lot of time and creativity to bring about the final results.
