Bollywood celebrities and cricketers are showing a great interest in putting their money in new ventures. From Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar to Alia Bhatt, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, the list just goes on and on.

Shikhar Dhawan, popularly known as Gabbar of Indian cricket team is now trying his luck with Entrepreneurship. The left-hand batsman has started a home decor startup called DaOne Home with his wife.

With DaOne, Shikhar is trying to provide a solution for people who are looking to get everything for the home custom made in one place. Commenting about this brand, Dhawan said in an interview, “Our homes are a natural extension of our own personalities, a reflection of our preferences and tastes. When Aesha and I were setting up our home, we realized the challenge that most Indians face when it comes to getting their living spaces to reflect their identities. While there were plenty of options available to choose from, no one place could give us the kind of comprehensive, end-to-end satisfaction that we were looking for. DaOne Home is our endeavor to address this major market gap.”

All the products have been designed in house team based out of Delhi and can be customised according to the needs. Dhawan always wanted to try his luck in business after retiring from cricket, but with the support of his wife, he has jumped to the opportunity. He isn’t the first present cricketer to expand his work outside the cricket world. Other names like M.S. Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli are also trying their luck with entrepreneurship. It will be interesting to see how Dhawan and his wife take this new challenge.
