This advertisement has been getting a lot of negative comments as people brought religion aspect in between. Akshay won the hearts of millions of people in India with his acting in the movie ‘Oh My God’ and this new Yamraj avatar seems to be opposite to the role of Lord Krishna as done in the movie. Akshay is giving the message of why insurance is important and everyone should buy an insurance plan for the safety of the family. Actor Sumeet Vyas is playing the role of a patient in the advertisement. You can see the video below:

Some took the message shown in the ad positively while many are trolling him for choosing a role which is completely different from his personality. Have a look at some the reactions on this ad:

This is not the first time when a celebrity is facing criticism for choosing a totally new role in ads. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut appeared as Goddess Laxmi for an ad of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. In the ad, she asked everyone to keep India clean or less they will ‘Dhanlaxmi’ from their hands.

People should behave with some maturity and such ads should not be taken seriously. Indians have to change their mindset and accept such concepts. What do you think about this? Do let us know in comments.
