Anand Mahindra often uses Twitter to spread positivity, share interesting snippets from around the world, and also express his views over pertinent matters in simple ways. He even recognizes skilled labor or shares stories of heroes, who have by far gone unnoticed by the world.

And this time the Mahindra and Mahindra boss came across a specially-abled man’s video on his timeline. The man in the video does not have any of his limbs, and is seen driving a modified scooter. Dressed in a white shirt, grey waistcoat and a cap, he is seen telling the video shooter, that he has been driving the vehicle for more than five years now. His vehicle functions like a scooter but also has a carrier added to it.

With a family comprising of his wife, two kids and an ailing mother, the man who is yet to be identified has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. And this is why he sets off every day, to get to work on his trusted scooter.

When asked, as to how does he operate the scooter, he smiles and moves the handle of the vehicle using his shoulder.
This unbreakable spirit of the man has earned him respect and appreciation from Anand Mahindra, who tagged a colleague of his in the tweet asking him to make the man a Business Associate, for last mile delivery service.

This isn’t the first time Anand Mahindra has set out to help deserving people. He has been massively impressed with the man’s attitude, which prodded him to raise a voice in his support.
And rightly so, he does deserve our respect too!
