Advertisements shown in movie theaters have been taken into consideration. At a time when viewers want to spend less time in theaters, they are getting to watch long ads of brands. For someone who spends money to enjoy the time on a movie.

In return, what he/she is shown numerous advertisements before the movie starts, and during ‘interval’, which are the same advertisements which are shown on TV as well. A movie lover from Hyderabad decided to take some action. He actually filed an FIR against movie chain behemoth Cinepolis for this.

Police has taken quick action started an investigation as well. The guy named Sai Teja from Hyderabad had gone to Cinepolis theater in Kukatpally area of Hyderabad on October 8th. The movie was scheduled to start at 4.30PM but was delayed due to ads, and he said this happens everytime.

When repeated ads were shown before the movie he went to the Manager and demanded why viewers’ time was being wasted by advertisements.

“Every theatre has to maintain a complaint book on their premises that we can ask for. One needs to write a complaint in the book and take a photograph so that we can prove that we have already raised the issue when we approach the police,” Sai Teja says.
