Company Sells ‘Original Grass-fed Ghee Oil’, Faces Backlash From Indians Online

| Published on February 28, 2019

Ghee needs no introduction if you are an India. It is used in making all sorts of cuisines from basic items like roti, chawal to something heavy that is made by restaurants. It is something most of us are habitual in eating but a Los Angeles based company named Fourth and Heart is facing criticism for selling traditional Ghee and mixed it with other oils.

According to company’s website, the Ghee Oil they produce and sell is made from the milk sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows in New Zealand. Interestingly, they are calling that it also comes in different flavors namely Original, California Garlic, Himalayan Pink Salt, and Madagascar Vanilla Bean. In reality, it is not pure Ghee but a mixture of several other ingredients.

Knowing about this, Indians went angry and wrote in opposition to this act.
