Entrepreneurs Who Starred In Ads Of Their Own Brands

Over the years, brand ambassadors have lent a lot of weightage and glamour to various brands, allowing an increase in brand awareness and sales. From influencing brand value to building brand image, ambassadors have played a crucial role in the way we view brands and their philosophy.

But now we have founders, co-founders, and even people from management positions like CEOs, starring in ads for their own brands. This is helping them enhance their personal brand too.

Here are five examples of entrepreneurs that have been featured in ads for their own brands.

1. Varun Alagh and Ghazal Alagh- Mamaearth

Co-founders of the personal care unicorn, Mamaearth, husband-wife duo Varun and Ghazal Alagh recently starred in an ad for their new product range- the Cocosoft Baby care Range. And supporting them, were their children Agastya and Ayaan.

They can be seen sharing childhood memories that urged them into using turmeric and coconut, combining them with modern technology, and getting this new range to the masses.

2. Peyush Bansal- Lenkart

Peyush Bansal founded the optical prescription eyewear retail chain-Lenskart. And their new campaign “The War of Fair Prices’ features Karan Johar along with Peyush Bansal himself.

The two are seen squabbling over the concept of fair prices, where Johar wants everything to look and be pricy, while Bansal’s idea is to provide high-quality frames at low prices, not involving any middlemen in between.

The ad has garnered a massive number of views, with people loving the concept and dialogues of the ad.

3. Shashank Mehta- The Whole Truth

Founder of the clean-eating brand- ‘The Whole Truth’, Shashank appears in many ads for the brand, and talks about the advantages and benefits of eating clean, and consuming products from ‘The Whole Truth’.

He is regularly seen in almost all educational content of the brand, featuring on social media platforms.

By the way, Shashank isn’t new to the world of ads. He was a part of Razorpay’s ad in which he was featured as a new startup founder facing payroll dilemmas.

4. Vineeta Singh- Sugar

The founder of leading cosmetics brand Sugar, Vineeta Singh appeared in ads for her brand, which also featured brand ambassadors Tamannaah Bhatia and Ranveer Singh.

The ads have helped people visually associate her with the brand.

5. Chetan Kanani- Alpino Health Foods

Alpino Health foods came up with a quirky campaign, featuring The Great Khali and its co-founder Chetan Kanani.

The co-founder is seen engaged in a fun banter with Khali, who keeps tasting all of Alpino Health products, which are primarily made using peanuts.
