10. Transfer chat without Google drive

WhatsApp is developing a feature that allows users to transfer their chat history between Android phones without relying on Google Drive. This alternative method will make it easier for users to switch their chat history between devices. Once available, users can access the feature through WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Chat transfer to Android, scanning a QR code, and following on-screen instructions.

11. Allow users to send images in (HD) quality

This feature will enable users to share photos with enhanced clarity and detail. Once released, users will have the option to select and send images in HD format, enhancing the visual experience for both senders and recipients.

11. Screenshot blocking for ‘View Once’ media

When attempting to take a screenshot of a photo or video sent as a “View Once” message, WhatsApp displays a prompt stating “Screenshot Blocked.” This feature prevents recipients from capturing screenshots of these disappearing media files.

12. In app chat support

WhatsApp is developing an in-app chat support feature for users to access customer support within the app. It will provide a convenient way to seek assistance and resolve issues directly. Users will be able to initiate a chat with WhatsApp’s support team from within the app.
