Protection masks have become a mandatory step rather than a precautionary one in order to fight the spread of the pandemic. The demand for these protection masks has also surged. It may seem like coronavirus has given way to a new business opportunity.

Masks were earlier made by medical manufacturers and were available only on the pharmacies. But with the rising demand, many private companies which were manufacturing apparel or even private boutiques have diverted the use of their raw materials to manufacture protection masks. These are now also available with local grocery stores as well.

Masaba Gupta launched her diffusion fashion line ‘House of Masaba‘ in 2009 and subsequently showcased as a gen-next designer at Lakme Fashion Week.

5. Louis Vuitton

French fashion house Louis Vuitton is making face masks and gowns for healthcare workers. These face masks are made out of a Lycra spandex fabric and a cotton lining.

6. Off White

Off-White is an Italian luxury fashion label founded by American designer Virgil Abloh. The company was incorporated in Milan in 2012.

7. Nivedita Saboo

Nivedita Saboo Couture is a fashion label that aims at creating the best of designs for its clients and this philosophy is reflected in its opulent logo as well.
