Genius Students Put Up Netflix Spoilers On Billboards So That People Stay At Home

| Published on April 3, 2020

Feel like going on a small road trip? Or just a walk around the neighbourhood. It’s better to stay at home during the coronavirus outbreak and these genius students went a step further to ask you to sit at home through Netflix posters that you will surely love!

While we feel bad for the couple (and every couple who were going to get married soon), it only works for the betterment of everyone in society. The students from Miami Ad School Europe in Hamburg, Germany are asking people to chill at home and stay quarantined, by using Netflix posters from popular shows (also a great way of advertising great Netflix content, don’t you think?)

By the creative use of spoilers, these students have cleverly persuaded you to watch these shows on Netflix. Every poster with a spoiler urges you to know more, and what better way can you find to be willing to watch a good show? Sit at home and binge watch shows and movies on Netflix already!

After returning to Thailand from their Ad school, the pair, art director Seine Kongruangkit and copywriter Matithorn Prachuabmoh Chaimoungkalo were surprised to see their Government not being able to advocate the need to stay at home, effectively. COVID-19 is a one of a kind pandemic that has put many countries in the world under lockdown. Hence, communication needs to be clear and persuasive in order to grab the attention of every individual. Ultimately, they came up with the Netflix campaign because they understood the rise of online streaming platforms during this quarantine period.

Another angle that the duo opted for through their spoilers was to ruin shows for the viewers. If you think roaming out during this time of crisis is necessary, well, do that at the cost of having the shows in your watchlist spoilt for you. Don’t want any spoilers? STAY. AT. HOME.
