Guy Cancelled Ola Cabs Because Of Muslim Driver, The Way Ola Replied Deserves Respect

A recent tweet by Ashok Mishra who claims himself to be a Vishwa Hindu Parishad member from Lucknow has created controversy. Ashok has over 14000 followers on Twitter including the defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman, petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan and minister of culture Mahesh Sharma. He shared an image about cancelling his Ola cab ride because the driver was a Muslim and this has created a controversy on Twitter.

One can clearly see that he is opposing the Muslim community and wants to avoid the cab riders having Muslim drivers. This tweet caught the attention of Twitter users and they started sharing their views on this.

Soon, Ola came to the act and replied Ashok in the perfect way. Ola wrote: Ola, like our country, is a secular platform, and we don’t discriminate our driver partners or customers basis their caste, religion, gender or creed. We urge all our customers and driver partners to treat each other with respect at all times.

This tweet got positive responses and a lot of people believe that such users should be blacklisted from using Ola.
