This platform is quite popular in the UK, Argentina, Australi, and Japan, to name a few, and already has 700+ publishers onboard.

A $1 billion partnership with leading news publishers in India was announced in October 2020, by Google CEO and Founder of Alphabet, Sundar Pichai. Publishers will be paid to curate and culminate true stories. Quality journalism will be given a push enabling high-quality online content. This will help in sustaining the news partners around the world.

Most of the content from these dedicated news publishers will be available for readers in English and Hindi. Other languages will also follow suit, paying more attention to regional languages for the diverse population in India.
