The anticipation reaches its zenith as ICC and BCCI join hands to present an awe-inspiring campaign for the much-awaited World Cup 2023. With the enigmatic Shah Rukh Khan as the captivating ambassador, this journey promises to set the world on fire!

Just 74 days away from the opening match of this year’s World Cup, the ‘It Takes One Day’ campaign was unveiled in Mumbai on Thursday.

Shah Rukh Khan Leads the Charge

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) have launched an exciting campaign for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The campaign, featuring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, aims to connect cricket fans worldwide to the nine emotions, known as ‘Navarasa,’ experienced during a thrilling cricket match.

‘Navarasa’ – Symbolizing the Cricket Emotions

The campaign centers around the concept of ‘Navarasa,’ symbolizing the nine emotions that fans and players commonly experience during the exhilarating journey of a One Day International (ODI) cricket match. These emotions include anguish, bravery, glory, joy, passion, power, pride, respect, and wonder. The campaign poignantly captures how these emotions collectively create a rollercoaster of excitement over the course of one unforgettable day.

The advertisement features not only Shah Rukh Khan but also renowned cricketers such as JP Duminy, Shubman Gill, Dinesh Karthik, Eoin Morgan, Muttiah Muralitharan, Jonty Rhodes, and Jemimah Rodrigues.
