IIFT Gets Highest Paying Offer Of Rs.75 Lakh; More Than Few IIMs

The IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) has overtaken the XLRI (Xavier’s School of Management), IIMS (Indian Institutes of Management) and FMS (Faculty of Management Studies) to have offered the highest salary package at Rs.75 lakh per year.

A marginal elevation has been observed in the average compensation up to Rs.20 Lakh by the institute that functions in the influence of commerce ministry.

IIFT’s Highest Pay Offer of Rs.75 Lakh/year

Around 125 companies have been reported to have visited the institute this year and the recruiters included consulting and banking majors McKinsey & CO, Reckitt Benckiser, RBL and Axis Bank.

“The largest ever batch of 2018-20 has been placed in various reputed organizations. The successful placement is a testament of the rigorous academic involvement and professional exposure IIFT provides to its students”, quoted by Rohit Mehtani, Head of corporate relations and placement division.

The jobs that had been offered to the students in the institute came from different sectors such as banking, finance, consulting, sales marketing and operations.

From the technical world, the offers came from Microsoft, Cognizant, Wipro, and Capgemini for the job positions of IT work. “The students at IIFT were placed across 96 companies. The highest stipend offered was Rs.3.2 lakh per month. This year the number of companies with an average stipend of over Rs.2 lakh has increased by 46%”, said IIFT.
