Kantar 2023 Report Reveals Interesting Insights About Most Valuable Indian Brands

The latest list shows the total brand value of India's top 75 brands in 2023.

Kantar has released a list of 75 most valuable Indian brands and the results are very interesting. The study reveals that the country’s top 75 brands have a combined brand value of $379 billion, with a decrease of 4% as compared to 2022.

According to the report, TCS is India’s most valuable brand for the second consecutive year with a whopping valuation of US $43 billion. The other leaders in this list are HDFC Bank, Infosys, Airtel and State Bank of India.

Here are some key takeaways about Indian brands from Kantar BrandZ 2023 report:

  • India’s Automobile industry has given two fastest risers namely- TVS ($1.90bn) and Mahindra ($2.01bn). These both have gained 59% and 48% respectively in value.
  • Telecom sector has also performed well with a 17% rise in total brand value. Whereas, the value of Financial Services brands increased 6%. Also, two new entrants (PhonePe and Cred) of this year’s report belong to the Fintech sector. ShareChat and Star are the other two new entrants in this year’s list.
