If you don’t know what it means, it is written in Bengali which translates to “Crease or road, you will regret, if you cross the line.”
What is this controversy?
If you still don’t have any idea about this controversy, let us tell you that recently, in the IPL match between hosts Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab in Jaipur Jos Butler was batting on 69 runs when Ashwin showed great presence of mind and ‘mankaded’ him.
He appealed for it and Buttler was judged out by the umpire. Since then, cricket fans have been divided into the opinions if Ashwin was right in this situation.
Some are calling it against the spirit of game, while others see no issue in this as its completely legal according to the laws of cricket.
