Mahindra Wants To Ensure Safety & Well Being Of Its Customers This Raksha Bandhan

| Published on August 25, 2018

Raksha Bandhan is an important festival in India & it celebrates the emotional bond and immense love that siblings share. When we are young, we don’t realize the importance of enjoying the festival together, but when situations of life change, some unfortunate ones don’t even get the time to see their loved ones even on special days like Raksha Bandhan.

Now that the festival is here, all brands have indulged in creative campaigns. Gone are the days when they showed casual & predictable Raksha Bandhan ads just with sisters tying a Rakhi on brothers’ wrists; some brands like Mahindra are trying to redefine the meaning of this festival by coming up with meaningful ads that are based more on reality. Yes, Mahindra- Truck & Bus has released a “Rakhi” video that throws light on the true essence of a brother-sister relationship.

The video starts with a middle-aged man (Truck driver) opening a letter which he received from his sister on Raksha Bandhan. In the letter, she has shared the beautiful memories which they had spent together, like having orange candies and having fights over petty topics.

Further, she explains, how their lives have changed and how they can’t even see each other on this special day. The interesting part starts when he realizes that she has sent not 1 but 2 Rakhis; one for him so that he can take care of her and the other one for the Mahindra vehicle he drives, so that, it can ensure his safety and well-being like a brother does for a sister. The ad also portrays that distance cannot weaken the emotions of siblings.

The background song in this video saying “Jahaan bhi hai tu khush hi rehna” delivers the message Mahindra wants to convey. Safety and well-being are something that all brothers and sisters wish for each other, and Mahindra, with its Trucks and Buses, has been ensuring the same from years. You can watch the complete video below:

From the daily arguments to empowering each other by ensuring safety, this video has everything one can wish for in a Raksha Bandhan ad.
