With work from home in place in many of the leading companies, employees have been trying their best to get used to the new normal.

While it started all fun and games with people taking up on social media their relaxed work look and expressed how it has helped them to stay closer to their loved ones, one and a half years down the line, and it is safe to say that majority are struggling.

With work from home comes a lot of high expectations and workload. People have now been posting about how stressful these work calls have become.

And a recent post from Paytm‘s CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma has sparked a debate on social media on the work zoom calls.

Sharma’s post read, “Just finished my probably, the longest Zoom call. 7 hours 45 mins.”

As soon as Sharma posted this tweet, the internet got divided in opinion. While some were wondering what the agenda might have been and if it was about the prospective IPO, there were many who pointed out the obvious flaw in conducting such a long work-related call.
