PUBG Mobile, the mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds has been a rage of late. World over people are hooked to this game and in past 6 months, it has undoubtedly become one of the most popular mobile games of the season.
The popularity of the game has soared so high that as per recent numbers, the game has entered the 20 million daily players benchmark. The surprising factor is that this number doesn’t include players from Japan, China and Korea and this makes a great difference, knowing the fact that the game is extremely popular in these regions too, especially China. With these numbers added, it surely will touch a new ceiling.
The game recently entered its third season with the 0.80 update and launched quite a few new features, weapons, and vehicles along with the Sanhok map. During the 2nd season, which means the earlier 14-week period of the game, Tencent Games claim that over 130 million players from more than 200 countries participated and have been able to earn more than 864 million chicken dinners. The number of chicken dinners served donates the number of games played and this is huge considering the game was launched just 5 months ago.

The new update is already garnering rave reviews from the users. “The QBZ gun is a great found of the season and also the feature that is enabling us to throw apples at others in the pre-game waiting area is a lot of fun. The only thing I did not like is the unavailability of the M24 rifle now with the crate drops, rest everything is amazing. The Sanhok map is simply great”, said Armaan, a PUBG player, and fan.
