The wonderful actor worked on ads for brands such as Lux Cozi, Cipla, and Britannia Marie. He adored improvising on the stage. He added lines that would give his character more depth.

The country received a nasty shock on March 9 when we all heard of the loss of 66-year-old veteran Bollywood legend Satish Kaushik, leaving a path of tears and sorrow in his behind. When one thinks about Kaushik, who was not just an actor but additionally a director, producer, and screenwriter, the word “versatile” comes to mind. His followers are devastated by the shocking news of his passing, which has shocked the Indian cinema industry.

On the big screen, he gave life to several characters, like the amiable chef Calendar from Mr. India and the silly gangster Pappu Pager from the film Deewana Mastana. In addition to his career, Kaushik has left us with many iconic commercials.

Here are some of the advertisements he appeared in to honor the great actor.

Cibaca Top

Kaushik appears in his recognizable comedic character in this 1990s commercial for the dental care company Cibaca from the Doordarshan era. He portrays a stressed-out man who wonders why everyone is mumbling “Cibaca.”

NECC

In this commercial for National Egg Co-Ordination Committee, Kaushik played a magician who taught children the benefits of eating eggs every day.

Cipla

The fact that Kaushik had asthma was well-known. He provided viewers with a direct glimpse into his health in this advertisement for the drug company Cipla and debunked some common misconceptions about using an inhaler.

Lux CottsWool

The Lux CottsWool advertisement in which Kaushik corrects his foolish nephew may be the most well-known of all of his commercials. The way he says, “Sardi main bhi garmi ka ehsaas,” is quite funny. He played the uncle in a recent ad for the company, but in a role reversal, his wiser nephew teaches him a lesson.

Flipkart

Anil Kapoor, Kaushik’s friend, and co-star, also appeared in this Flipkart advertisement. The commercial proves that the two buddies still had a terrific rapport even after appearing in their first movie together in the 1960s. In films like Ram Lakhan, Mr. India, and Jamai Raja, to mention a few, Kapoor & Kaushik have collaborated. Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Badhaai Ho Badhaai and Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, are just a few of the films that Kaushik has also directed Kapoor.

Marie

The animated facial expressions of Kaushik will make this commercial memorable for all who watched Television in the 1980s and the first few years of the 1990s. The actor plays a home visitor who is drinking tea and Nibbling cookies, appearing to be in his early days in the business. He ultimately tries to go with a bag full of biscuits but is stopped by the children.

Anupam Kher is in tears as he recalls her friendship with Satish Kaushik, “friendship of 45 years…It’s deep”….

To “get rid of the sensation of loss,” according to Anupam, he created the video. His decades-old friend’s death ‘killing’ him.

Here’s the video:
