A shop in Gujarat’s Surat named ’24 Carats Mithai Magic’ has some new plans for this Rakshabandhan as it is selling sweets worth Rs 9000 per kilogram. Now, most of you must have started thinking about why the price of these sweets is so high?

On answering this, the owner of the shop said, “These sweets are covered with gold leaf and are in huge demand these days. In place of silver covering, we have used pure gold leaf as it is beneficial for health.”

Normally, the sweets with silver work are sold in the price range of Rs 300/- to RS 350/- per kg in the market. But these gold leaf attract customers when they enter the shop and they ask about these sweets. Sisters are buying these sweets for their brothers for Rakshabandhan and being the healthier option it is gaining popularity among the rich.
