Sonakshi Sinha Orders Expensive Headphones, Gets Piece Of Junk From Amazon

E-commerce has transformed the Indian market completely. Local traders are facing a tough time due to interest customers are showing in buying online. This is mainly due to the offers they get by purchasing products listed on popular companies like Flipkart, Amazon and many more.

While there are several pros of online shopping, there are people who feel unsecured about the quality of products they can receive on the delivery. We all have seen examples when e-commerce websites sent poor quality and duplicate products. It is worse to see unexpected things like a brick or a piece of junk in place of the money buyers pay.

A similar incident has happened with Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha who recently ordered a really expensive headphone from Bose, a premium brand for sound equipment. In return, she received a piece of heavy iron junk instead. Being angry about the situation, she tried contacting Amazon India but it seems like nothing worked. After this, she took to Twitter to inform the Amazon and shared how she not only received a wrong item but was denied help as well.

Below is what she tweeted:

Hey @amazonIN! Look what i got instead of the @bose headphones i ordered! Properly packed and unopened box, looked legit… but only on the outside. Oh and your customer service doesnt even want to help, thats what makes it even worse. pic.twitter.com/sA1TwRNwGl

She followed this with another tweet:

Anybody want to buy a brand new shiny piece of junk for 18,000 bucks? (Yup, its a steal) Dont worry, im selling, not @amazonIN, so ull get exactly what you’re ordering. pic.twitter.com/3W891TA7yd

Amazon hasn’t replied to this and it will be interesting to see how the management team handles the situation. What are your views over this? Do share them with us in the comments.
