Technology + Marketing Mind: Restaurant Replaces Usual Menus For QR Codes

| Published on June 4, 2020

Now that most countries are opening up their markets and businesses, new ways are being implemented to ensure everyone’s safety. Of all this, the food industry needs to maintain proper health and safety standards and this one restaurant in Italy has helped with the same. The restaurant, ‘Da Enzo’, has incorporated QR codes to show customers the food menu instead of paper ones to ensure a contact less dining experience.

A customer who recently dined at the venue exclaimed how the system was so neat and efficient. Several old customers of this restaurant are also adapting the new method and seem to prefer it to the pre lockdown world. The owner Maria Chiara Di Felice was happy to see how her customers were willing to use this new system that ensured their dining experience just changed for the better! Have a look at this video below to see how the whole process goes on,

What Safety Measures Are The Staff Taking Care Of?

At Da Enzo, the chefs are wearing gloves, masks and even safety goggles while cooking. The number of tables in the restaurant have reduced to ensure that they are well spaced out and a small number of people are present at the restaurant at one time. The tables and chairs are sanitized as soon a customer leaves to ensure sanitation for the next.

Have you seen any other restaurant utilizing such unique techniques yet?
