Chai is a word that can bring a smile on any Chai lover’s face. No matter how stressed you are or how bad your day has been, there is nothing that a good cutting cannot fix. Especially during the rainy season, we look out of our office windows and everyone has the same thing on their minds, ‘Chai & Pakode’.

The best thing about Chai is that it comes in all colors, flavors, and sizes to suit everyone’s individual choices. Some like it strong some like it lite. Not to mention the Adrak wali or Elaichi wali variants. The list is never-ending and thankfully so. A good cup of tea can be enjoyed anywhere. Whether it is a 05-star hotel or simply just a Dhaba, Chai will always be on the menu. Everyone boasting about how good of a tea selection they have.

Today we want to tell you about a tea seller who has been selling his Chai in a very quirky way.

A tea stall in Raipur has been famous for a very catchy name, “Kharaab Se Kharrab Chai” (The Worst of the Worst tea). To Think of, who would want to drink the worst chai ever? Not me for sure.

Even though the name implies otherwise, the chai is surprisingly the best in the city. The tea seller came up with this name in order to attract more and more customers. Curiosity found its way and the stall has become famous not just for the name but for the tea itself.

The shop owner Surendra Tandi said that he knew that no matter how good of a tea he would serve to his customers they would always find something to complain about. That is when he decided to give his shop this interesting name. Interestingly, no one has ever complained about his tea ever since.
