The World is gradually moving towards lifting all the restrictions on traveling to different countries. This has given hope to all travel enthusiasts who have been waiting to travel with ease.
The travel search site KAYAK shows that flight searches over the last six months (searches between 20.07.2022 – 20.01.2023) for travels to India in 2023 have surpassed pre-pandemic levels, growing by about 29% compared to the same period in 2019.
The Indian Government has been putting in a lot of effort to make promote hassle-free tourism and its results are clearly showing.
As per the data shared by Kayak, The United States has consistently been one of India’s most prominent sources of tourists. The searches for flights from the US to India until the end of this year grew about 21% compared to the same pre-pandemic period.

New Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad were among the top 3 most searched cities in India. These three cities offered a balanced mix of the country’s rich heritage and modern infrastructure. Goa was in the list as always amongst many others.
