Top Masala Companies In India As Of 2022

India has always been known for its wide variety of spices. Spices manufactured in the country has exported all over the world making it one of the most popular suppliers.

In India, no food is complete without a mix of spices in it. Indians might be a fan of simple food, but bland has never been our way. To make these spices available in almost every Indian household, there have been many brands in the market for decades now.

From Everest to MDH, there are been many brands that have become the top spice sellers in the world. While the list of companies is too long, here are the top masala companies in India as of 2022.

1. MDH

Founded in 1919, India’s biggest spice maker, MDH has recorded Rs 1,191 crore in yearly sales (FY2021) and Rs 507 crore in operating profit.

2. Everest


Around 3.705 billion Packs of Everest products are sold each year and 20 million Households use Everest products every day.
Infact, Everest has achieved ‘Superbrand’ status eight times (2003, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019 & 2021).

3. Badshah

Badshah masala has been one of the leading spice brands serving quality spices since 1958. It became a Rs 154 crore turnover company in FY 20-21.

4. Catch Spice

Sales under the Catch brand, which has a 2-3% market share in the organized spices segment, are estimated at Rs 500-550 crore in fiscal 2021.

5. Ramdev Masala

As of 31 Mar’20, Ramdev Food Products’s operating revenues range is INR 100 cr – 500 cr.

6. MTR Masala

MTR Foods Private Limited’s operating revenues range is Over INR 500 cr for the financial year ending on 31 March 2021.

7. Goldiee Masale

Goldiee Masale Private Limited’s operating revenues range is INR 1 cr – 100 cr for the financial year ending on 31 March 2020.
