Why has Uber released this List?
To educate users about ride insights throughout the year, the company decided to come out with a fun take on the same. Rather than just listing numbers, Uber decided to mention which cities have the most forgetful passengers. In fact, the company went one step ahead by mentioning what kind of items are usually forgotten.
The list includes phones, keys, wallets, headphones and bags. Further, Uber wanted to highlight that users can easily retrieve their lost items by raising a request on the app. This can be done after the trip is complete and your Uber driver will get in touch to hand over the needful in no time.
What other Items have Indians forgotten in an Uber?
You’ll be amused to know that some passengers have conveniently left their cricket bats, sweets like ghewar, Aadhar cards, college certificates, dumbbells, spike guards and even bike handles. However, Uber drivers are mindful to get in touch with passengers in these instances and it really helps if a passenger raises a request on the app.
The Director of Central Operations, Uber – Mr. Nitish Bhushan – mentioned that while losing an item is certainly stressful, the convenience of tracing and retrieving it is as easy as it gets.
