Rain has been a debatable issue all through the World Cup as it has washed many crucial games. One more thing that has been debatable since its launch is DLS method which is used to calculate the winning scores in rain dominated matches.
The method of how DLS works is still confusing for everyone and many times captains have shown anger regarding this. Knowing for his quirky commentary, Virender Sehwag took a jibe at DLS method asking HRs of corporate world to pay employees according to DLS method.
“Will it be advantage employees if Salary is given by Duckworth Lewis in rainy months. If baarish mein bhi employee is coming to office. What do HR log think?” he wrote as caption of a recent tweet after India vs New Zealand match was extended to play for the next day.

if per month a man earns Rs.30000/- (Rs.1000/- per day), and due to rain if the person has to attend only 20 days, as per Duckworth Lewis, he has to be paid Rs.25000/-
That company funds will lost for only 6 months 🙂
