Several leaks have been already viral on the internet hinting Xiaomi’s intentions behind POCO. Xiaomi hasn’t revealed many details about the Poco brand, but it is assumed that Pocophone F1 will launch soon in India. Xiaomi is promoting the brand as Pocophone internationally, but in India, it is named as Poco.

Poco could be Xiaomi’s affordable gaming smartphone brand. In a recent interview, Xiaomi VP Manu Kumar Jain hinted that Xiaomi wants to capture flagship smartphone industry India now. Jain also hinted that the next plan is to offer a flagship-class phone at a highly affordable price with an aspirational appeal, like Samsung’s Galaxy S series.
